すてきなカリンバを手に入れました。阿蘇の森での暮らしを実践しているケンゴマンさんが作っている、ココナッツの殻でできたカリンバです。
ベッドに寝転びながら、このカリンバを鳴らして録音していたら、作品としてまとめたくなり、ミニアルバムが完成しました。
電子音楽家のWAKIさんにお願いしてシンセサイザーを重ねてもらい、私の大好きな感じに仕上がりました。

各曲のタイトルは、SNSで各地から降ってきた、天の声に従いました。事後報告ですが、この場でお礼申し上げます。

I recently obtained a beautiful kalimba. Kengoman, who lives in the middle of forest in Aso, Kyushu, made this beautiful kalimba out of a coconut shell. While lying on the bed and recording its sounds, I came up with the idea that I should make them into a mini-album.

I asked Waki, an electronic music artist, to add his synthesizer sounds to my tunes – then he made them into exactly what I like. As for the titles of the tunes, I used ideas given by kind people on SNS. Thank you so much for your help!

I released on YouTube the music video for “A Beautiful Nap,” which also became the title of this album. Please check it out!
